Shaun Heeney23 August 2025I asked MJB for a quote for a new fridge for my caravan (another caravan service provider had told me I needed a new fridge and quoted me £1558 which I thought was expensive) but MJB asked why I thought it was broken. I explained the fault and they said if I could bring the van in to them they would take a look at it. They kept me informed of progress and identified a fault with the earth connection to the fridge which they then rectified. They saved me over £1200 and were great to deal with. I anticipated a complete replacement Remis unit would be needed, in fact the MJB mechanics located a worn cog in the gearbox, replaced it, now works perfectly. Becky and Miles were incredibly accommodating given that these issues meant I should not have been driving my van, and I needed it as it is also a daily drive. Miles explained all the issues, suggested remedies, and got on with the repairs. Becky as always, kept me up to date. Most recently, a very unexpected issue was flagged during the MOT, and despite their incredible workload, managed to get it sorted in double quick time. Kudos to both Becky for her calm manner, and to Miles for always having a smile and comforting word for his customers. I highly recommend MJB Tourers. And this was a great proposal. The competence, friendliness and commitment of Miles and his team is great. They examined the problem and scheduled an appointment for the next day when the loose bracket was fixed again which wasn't easy since the boreholes in the sheet metal were already worn out. After being away for the summer, we had a few minor and a couple of major jobs that needed doing. Jane W11 October 2024I bought my 2nd hand Ford Duetto Wreg Autosleeper from the firm 12 years ago . It was 11 old then and is still on the road now! There are a number of signs of age, but Miles, the owner , spent a generous hour on various small things, which will mean it’s gas system is useable, the buttons on the drawers work etc He was patient and kind . He has a great Office manager who helped order other items. A great team . So good to find honesty. I have had to deal with so many garages who have tried to take the van ‘off my hands ‘over the last 10 years!Posted on Google

Katrina England24 August 2024Huge big thank you to Miles, Becky and team at MJB Tourers, nothing was too much trouble. Assessed our lovely motorhome sadly with damp ingress. Wall boards weren't compatible with any in the UK so Miles and team approached dedicated Chausson dealer and via Riverside to France we had our new wall board. New wall board, collected and team Miles fitted, not before they had a robust tackle at our bed(from ceiling) its still tricky. Absolutely highly recommend MJB, highly professional, very friendly team, nothing was too much trouble for them to help with advise or act upon. stuart miles27 May 2024I spoke with Miles after being recommended to him by someone else, a lovely chap who was more than happy to discuss my options with me. What was great to see was that he wasn’t out to get me to spend the most but get the right product for my needs. He booked me in extremely quickly and we had the rear air suspension fitted to our Fiat Adria Coral. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for anything from the basic service to upgrades to their vehicle. Will definitely be back in the future for servicing and any other upgrades. David Allder16 April 2024We took our Hymer B754 to MJB to have the main roof light repaired if possible as the mechanism had seized up and also asked if they could look at a problem with the wind-out awning. They were able to not only repair the original roof light mechanism but also to fix the issue with the awning (which we thought might be beyond repair). Craig Anthony9 January 2024My partner booked our old girl in for a damp test which i agreed to knowing that we wouldn’t like the outcome as i had already started shall we say exploring the outcome of previous water damage 😱 They we’re really great and patient as one look and a few probs later the diagnosis was not great. They gave us plenty of time and a full explanation of how the work needed would exceed the value of the vehicle which i was expecting. They were good enough to give me a few pointers of what & how the work needed to be done if i felt brave enough…. As were going to go straight to Dover from the Balloons for a prolonged stay in France I wanted to get any issue resolved asap. I looked on the internet and phoned about half a dozen motorhome service engineers ranging from mobile to main dealers no one could help in my time frame.Then I phoned MJB and they said to come straight in and they would find time to have a look. MJB could not have been more helpful and were very professional. They found the leak, replaced the leaking washers and retested. Thankyou for sorting our problem straight away and letting us continue our holiday worry free. We have no hesitation in recommending this business.Posted on Google

Ben Martin13 July 2023I've had a couple of pieces of work done by Miles and the team. The first was fitting a wifi aerial, which they did an amazing job of. It was incredibly neat, invisible wiring and exactly what I asked for. Becky in the office was super helpful and very welcoming. I took it back to have some additional work, on my kitchen which ended up being much more complicated, but again super neat job, well finished, done with a smile and they fit me in at the last minute. Did a gas test on my appliances to be extra thorough and they even let me do my work from their office space and brought me a coffee (and I had my own wifi with their help...) :D I have high standards and MJB really nailed the work they've done for me - couldn't recommend enough. Excellent service from M J B Tourer Services having some follow up work to our habitation check which revealed some damp problems which needed sorting. The work was completed within a few days and is all sorted now. They do all the work on my motor home and it is always to a high standard, a friendly and efficient service. Really pleased with the service I received today.
My campervan needed a water pump replacing and Miles sorted it out quickly for me while I waited.
He was super helpful and answered a number of totally unrelated questions I had about my van. He even helped fix a stiff lever on the rock and roll bed so I now have a fully functioning vehicle!
Thank you to the administrator for dealing with the warranty company so efficiently.

What a service!!!
I had an electrical problem on my MH, I called so many garages, many refused as my vehicle is not a spring chicken anymore, many mechanics from the MCEA circuit advised me to get in contact with MJB.
The receptionist warned me that they were very busy and they would do everything to help me.
They called me to bring the MH for an inspection the same day, Miles did some tests and found the issue, in a matter of hours it was sorted, advised on what to do to avoid the problem.
All was done in a FRIENDLY and PROFESSIONAL manner.
I truly recommend this company, specially if your MH it’s not the latest and require skilled people that knows what they are doing.

I also enquired about some other minor works which they looked at whilst the motorhome was in they priced up, info given and then carried out with no problem.
We were so happy with the work and the friendliness of the team we were quick to return for our Habitation check which again was done with all of the above. I also loved the little info booklet, a lovely little touch and perfect for those like me who forget the dates MOT and Hab checks are due!!
